Why we exist

Started by a 14-year-old. Run by a 17-year-old.

Sportrition was founded by Liam Turner in 2023, aged 14, after a school rugby match at St Joseph's College in Ipswich. Three years in the Northampton Saints Academy. First XV at one of the country's top rugby schools.

Liam saw two gaps at the same game: kit shortages on match days, and the rubbish quality of snacks in the machines around the place. With coeliac disease shaping how he thinks about food, he turned an observation into a business — and built it through his GCSE Business Studies class.

Three years later: real machines in real offices, a partnership with Cambridge Rugby Club, and the country's best biltong supplier on speed dial. We're a family-run business. Liam's our 17-year-old director. We're just getting started.
